A single digit represents the category of yarn, consisting of 0 to 4. 0 represents worsted yarn category; 1 represents woolen yarn category; 2 represents worsted knitted yarn category; 3 represents woolen knitted yarn category; 4 represents a new variety. Two digits represent the raw materials used, consisting of 1 to 8. 1 represents domestic wool; 2 represents imported wool; 3 represents the blending of imported wool and imported viscose fibers; 4 represents the trial product; 5 represents the blending of domestic wool and viscose; 6 represents the blending of imported wool and imported acrylic fiber; 7 represents the blending of domestic wool and synthetic fibers; 8 represents pure acrylic fiber.
The last two digits represent the yarn count. The larger the number, the finer the yarn and the higher the quality.
(2) Identification of genuine and fake woolen yarn: Real woolen yarn refers to the process and spinning of pure wool; Fake wool refers to the use of crotch fibers, other synthetic fibers, or wool blended with other fibers to impersonate pure wool yarn.

Look; True wool has a pure color, bright luster, uniform evenness, and consistent thickness. Blended wool is made from a mixture of two or more fibers, some fibers are smooth, some fibers are stiff, some fibers have a natural luster, and some fibers are shiny and dazzling. Purified fiber wool has a rough appearance, either dazzling or dull luster.
Grab: - Real wool has a soft feel and good elasticity, and the wool quickly returns to its original state when released. The blended yarn feels like a prick in your hand. Chemical fiber wool feels hard and sticky to the touch, without elasticity.
Wearing: Real wool has good warmth retention, is not prone to pilling or pilling, and has no static electricity; Blended wool and chemical fiber wool are prone to shedding and pilling, resulting in static electricity.
Burn: After igniting the real wool, there is a clear burning odor, and the residue appears as black irregular blocks. Blended and synthetic fibers have significant differences in odor, flame, ash, and other aspects due to their different components.
